Introducing Future Isle of Wight
We’re a community interest company tackling fuel poverty and reducing CO2, and we’re excited to be attending Going Electric 2022!
Live Green, Live Better
Future Isle of Wight has an ambitious goal: To preserve the ecology and environment of our beautiful island for future generations, whilst improving the everyday lives of the people who live and work here.
We’re Islanders with backgrounds in the built environment, communications and IT, so we know that eco-friendly choices need to be a good fit for our unique location. We also know that if we’re going to succeed, we need to help residents and local businesses save money and thrive.

Our Key Themes
In our first phase, Future Isle of Wight will focus on reducing fuel poverty by helping Island residents to heat and insulate their homes and businesses more efficiently, saving money and reducing CO2.

Solar PV
We’re partnered with Solar Sim, who use advanced remote sensing technology to discover your building’s solar potential.

Heating
With help from Ecowise, we’re reducing fuel poverty by improving home heating systems using government grants.

Insulation
Our surveys pinpoint where homeowners can save on yearly fuel bills with grant-funded insulation installed by Ecowise.

Electric Vehicles
Our team includes dedicated EV specialists & we have a number of exciting projects nearing completion.

Grant Funding
We can assist homeowners & local businesses in applying for funding for a wide range of energy themed grants.

Commercial Projects
We can help industrial & commercial building owners cut significant costs on heating & ventilation bills.
What You Should Know About Us

We’re a Community Interest Company
That means we aren’t a charity, but our objectives must benefit the local community. It also means that we’re not aligned with a political party, and all of our profits and capital growth need to be used to benefit the Isle of Wight.

We’re Isle of Wight Focused
We live on the Isle of Wight, and we’re committed to making sure that the beautiful landscapes that we love so much are preserved for future generations.
We also understand the unique challenges that Islanders face, and that many of the solutions that work across the water aren’t always a good fit for our rural communities.

We Believe in Practical, Common Sense Solutions
We span a diverse range of industries and backgrounds, including the built environment, communications, smart technology, IT and digital media.
We’re results-driven, motivated and practical, and we understand the challenges of living and doing business on the Isle of Wight.
