Future Isle of Wight is excited to announce our summer 2026 event showing the public and businesses how to reduce energy costs and cut carbon footprints. Our team will also be on hand to talk residents through the various government home upgrade grants that are available and how to apply.
It’s all about retrofit
Retrofit refers to the process of upgrading existing homes and buildings to make them warmer, healthier, and cheaper to run — whether that’s through better insulation, smarter heating, or switching to renewable energy. The Future Isle of Wight event brings all of this together under one roof (or platform canopy!) to show you how it works in real life.
Whether you’re a homeowner, private landlord, tenant, or business owner, this event will give you the knowledge and tools to take action — from learning what funding you might be eligible for; to seeing insulation, heat pumps, solar panels and other eco-tech in action.
