Welcome to Future Isle of Wight

We’re a not-for-profit community interest company. Our volunteer retrofit experts educate and advise Island residents and businesses on reducing their utility bills and carbon footprints.

You Could Be Eligible for a Free Heating, Insulation or Solar Upgrade

Future Isle of Wight can help you apply for a grant to reduce the cost of home heating, insulation, and renewable energy upgrades by up to 100%.

We’ll also oversee the work, liaising with Trustmark-approved, PAS-certified installers to make your home warmer, more efficient, and less costly to run.

Our Objectives

Future Isle of Wight aims to improve the environment of our beautiful island and the everyday lives of the people who live and work here. To do that, we’ll help residents heat, insulate, and power their homes and businesses more efficiently, saving money and reducing CO2.

Solar PV

We use advanced remote sensing technology & expert surveyors to assess potential solar PV installations.

With help from retrofit installers, we’re reducing fuel poverty by improving home heating through government grants.

Our surveys pinpoint where homeowners can reduce fuel bills with grant-funded insulation installed by experts.

Electric Vehicles

Our team includes dedicated EV specialists & we participate in a number of exciting transport projects.

Grant Funding

We can assist homeowners & local businesses in applying for funding for a wide range of energy-themed grants.

Commercial Projects

We can help industrial & commercial building owners cut significant costs on heating & ventilation bills.
